Flag Information

  • Green Flag: Start of a race. It will be waived with the gate drop to let you know that the race had a successful start.
  • White Flag: One lap to go until finish. (courtesy flag)
  • Yellow Flag: Caution. When a yellow flag is displayed, competitors must ride cautiously until they have passed the incident that caused the flag. When displayed there is no passing or gaining an advantage and jumps must be rolled between the flag and the incident that caused the yellow flag. Failure to do so may result in loss of positions or disqualification, subject to the referee’s discretion.
  • Black Flag with 1 inch white border: Disqualification of a rider. That rider must report to the referee at once.
  • Blue Flag: Indicates you are about to be overtaken by faster riders. Hold your line and don't impede their progress.
  • White Flag with red cross: Indicates that ambulances, safety vehicles or emergency personnel may be on the course. Competitors must show extreme caution, slow down, maintain position, not gain an advantage and wheels of the motorcycle must not leave the ground between the flag and the incident. Failure to do so may result in loss of position or a disqualification, subject to the referee's discretion.
  • Black and White Checkered Flag: End of race
  • Red Flag: Stopping of a race for any emergency situation. Return cautiously to the starting line and wait for instructions.

  • Competitors MUST wear safe footwear that cover ankle, braces are accepted. Mandatory eye wear, Full-length pants.

Let’s be fair: If a racer rides another bike in the 2nd Moto he or she would have to be protested by a racer in that same Moto for action of a DQ to take place. It is the track owner's discretion to allow the racer to compete if not Protested. But you the rider must let the head scoring clerk at that track scoring crew know upfront of any changes before you go to staging! (No Exceptions)
